Whether I am in a survival situation or not I try to stay aware of my surroundings. I first became more aware of what was going on around me when I moved to NJ from PA about 10 years ago. I went from small town to big suburbs and big city as well. It was a real change. But one of the real things I noticed was how the level of diversity in people was so large. I was immediately more aware of my surroundings and immediately suspect of those I did not know or that I profiled as being a threat.
More recently, on one of the survival boards I am on, a survivalist friend of mine made me more aware of the “Cooper Codes” which are situational states of awareness. After doing some research I came across the following information and I think would be good information for people to have. Basically the information you will find outlines who Jeff Cooper is, and what his levels of situational awareness can do for you Check the information out here:
