Soooooo many issues IMO to resolve:
Sharing cost.
Sharing ownership.
Keeping opsec.
What to do if someone leaves the group.
How to expell someone from the group if necessary.
etc.
I have much experience dealing with volunteer groups (not survival groups though) and assure it isn’t easy to find and keep truly committed people who are all on the same page of goals and methodologies.
