On Scribd.com last week, I found something I had been searching for a bit. It is the 1911 copy of the Boy Scout Handbook. Bart of Project Gutenberg, it is free for download, so I thought I would share.

I love those old scout manuals. I have one from the mid-60's, and much of the info is still current today.
Yeah, I like them as well. I had a couple of old ones when I was a kid, but honestly, I didn't take care of them the way I should have. I would like to start collecting the older ones, and hanging on to them… It would be interesting to see the merit badge transitions over the years from book to book…
