I have one I use on carry fishing kayak. I put a convex blade on it. Very nice knife.
I prefer more of a guard on my knife, have heard it's easy for your hand to slip off the handle and onto the blade of a mora.
I have heard the same… I have one of the military green handle ones that are textured handles. Much better than the smooth wood handles I have seen. The one I own stays in my business travel EDC kit, and is rarely used. Occasionally I pull it out when camping for more intricate work.
